Life Quote - You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching....

You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,

Love like you'll never be hurt,

Sing like there's nobody listening,

And live like it's heaven on earth.”

I love this quote from the Wiz. It is so true. The Prince’s “call to take on a mission for the sake of something bigger than yourself” is a call that we should all heed. If we don’t heed it, we are in danger of falling asleep in our tracks, or becoming somebody we’re not supposed to be, thinking that we are happy in our own skin, but when in truth we are unhappy in our own skin.

Why I Love Marilyn Monroe's Selfish Quote

“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. I can’t continue to live in this fantasy where I can just go around being perfect and because I don’t get what I want I am worthless. I have flaws. I am a human and therefore flawed. No matter how much I try to behave, I am always going to have weaknesses and baggage. I am not perfect and I will never be perfect. I love Marilyn Monroe because she is every...

What to learn from "The purpose of our lives is to be happy" quote

The purpose of our lives is to be happy." — Dalai Lama I love this quote because for me, happiness means having contentment with yourself and being appreciative of everything around you. Happiness doesn't have to be an outward show; it's an inner feeling that radiates from the inside. Happiness is about appreciating the things that you have. This is the key to 'being happy' and 'reaping the benefits' of life. Welfare is Happiness Happiness is a feeling of well-being. Being generous is a way to increase our happiness. Over the past year, I wrote a blog post about the five factors of the most generous people. The five factors were: "How do you see yourself? Are you a giver or a taker? Do you believe that others should be helping and supporting you? Do you believe that you are entitled to all that you need and deserve? Do you give to others when you get something in return? Do you look for ways to improve the lives of other people around you?...
